Timo Karinen appointed Executive Vice President of Metsäliitto Wood Products Industry

M.Sc. (Eng.) Timo Karinen (45) has been appointed Executive Vice President, Metsäliitto Wood Products Industry and member of the Metsäliitto Group Executive management Team. Karinen reports to Kari Jordan, Metsäliitto Group's President and CEO.
Timo Karinen has previously held the positions of SVP, Solid Wood and SVP, Strategy and Finance within Wood Products Industry. Prior to that he worked as VP, Business Development in Metsä-Botnia.
Ole Salvén, who has held the position since 2005 and has played a major role in the success of the structural changes of Metsäliitto Group within Wood Products Industry, will transfer his responsibilities to his successor before leaving the Group 31st March 2012.
